Small group instruction with an emphasis on having fun while learning skating skills. An introduction for the new tot skater and a progression of skills taught for the more advanced skater.

* Group instruction following the USFSA guidelines for Basic 1-6 and Freestyle 1-6 levels for the beginning to advanced skater.
* Hockey or figure skates may be worn for Basic & Freestyle 1-6. -
Full hockey equipment is expected for power skating classes.
* MITE/SQ Power Skating: Emphasis on forward skating stride and edges
* PW/BANT Power Skating: Emphasis on forward & backward strides, edges, and turns.

The final stage in our LTP Hockey progression is geared toward players, ages 7-10 with completion of Level 2.
On-ice practices will be Monday evenings and Saturday mornings
In December, players get divided into teams, beginning the transition into the Youth Hockey Program with their own practice and game schedule (days and times TBD).
Players must provide their own equipment, including skates and a stick.

The second stage in our LTP Hockey progression is geared toward players, ages 6-9 with completion of Level 1.
On-ice practices will be Monday evenings and Saturday mornings
We’ll introduce and follow the USA Hockey American Development Model (ADM)
Players must provide their own equipment, including skates and a stick.
Previous Level 1 participation is strongly encouraged.
May advance to Level 3 or repeat Level 2 after season.

Welcome to our LTP Hockey program!
This first step is geared toward new players, ages 4-6 with completion of Snowplow Sam Series LTS.
This is NOT a learn-to-skate class; players should be able to skate the width of the ice unassisted
On-ice practices will be Saturday mornings beginning in mid/late January.
Introduction to basic hockey skills.
Necessary equipment provided to borrow for the season.
Rink skates are available to use at each practice.May advance to Level 2 or repeat Level 1 after season.
