Small group instruction with an emphasis on having fun while learning skating skills. An introduction for the new tot skater and a progression of skills taught for the more advanced skater.

* Group instruction following the USFSA guidelines for Basic 1-6 and Freestyle 1-6 levels for the beginning to advanced skater.
* Hockey or figure skates may be worn for Basic & Freestyle 1-6.

Full hockey equipment is strongly encouraged for both power skating options:
* Mite Power Skating: Ages 7-9, Emphasis on forward skating stride and edges
* Junior Power Skating: Ages 10 and up, Emphasis on forward & backward strides, edges, and turns.

All practices are from 10:30-11:15am (beginning January 20)
Introduction to basic skating and hockey skills.
Necessary equipment provided to borrow for the season.
Players must transition to hockey skates – rink skates are available to use at each practice.
May advance to Mini ADM or repeat Little Stickers.

In December, players get divided into teams and meshed into the overall Youth Hockey Program practice and game schedule (days and times TBD)

● Cross-floor games (ADM rink setup)

○ 4 Week Season (7/8 – 8/1)
■ 4-5 games minimum, depending on number of teams, 1-2 games per week
○ Playoff Tournament (8/6-8/9) ■ Single-elimination bracket, seeding based on regular-season standings
