NEW – AUTOMATIC WITHDRAWAL PAYMENT OPTION
for YOUR CIVIC CENTER MEMBERSHIP!

New and renewing members now have the option of paying for annual Civic Center memberships using a monthly checking account withdrawal.  Fees are slightly higher and first payment must be by check, drawn on the account you plan to use for automatic withdrawal.  Stop at the Civic Center or call 440-895-2599 for complete information, application and fee structure. 

The Civic Center is now part of the popular "Silver Sneakers" program, offering free memberships to those 65+ with qualifying insurance plans.  Look for eligibility information directly from your insurance provider.

Group Exercise Flex Pass
Come to an unlimited number of adult general* group exercise classes or water exercise classes.  Purchase a Season Pass or Year Pass.  *The Flex Pass cannot be used for specialty classes including  Yoga and Tai Chi but Flex Pass holders are eligible for a 50% discount on class registration for these programs!

The Rocky River Recreation Department is located in the Rocky River City Complex at the corner of Hilliard and Wagar (W 210) in Rocky River. 

The Rocky River Recreation Department offers year-round programming for preschoolers, students and adults.  A brochure is mailed to residents three times per year (fall, winter, spring/summer).  Many programs utilize school facilities;  gyms, fields and classrooms.  A full schedule of youth sports leagues is offered, including soccer, football, basketball and baseball/softball.  Instructional programs include tennis, golf, keyboarding, fencing, skating, swimming and much more.  For adults, we offer fitness programs, volleyball leagues, basketball,  tennis, water exercise, ballroom  dance and much more.  Call the Civic Center at 440-895-2599 for information.

Hamilton Ice Arena is open from September through March, and offers open skates, lessons for all ages, travel hockey, and birthday parties.  It is also the home ice for the Rocky River High School Hockey Team.

In the spring, the ice is melted away and replaced with soccer turf.  During the spring and summer the turf is used for indoor soccer programs, soccer leagues, day camp and a variety of other activities.

The outdoor municipal pool is open mid-June though mid September.  Open swim time is available for residents.   Four two-week session of swimming lessons are offered.  Seasonal pool passes are available for residents with proof of residency.

The city maintains eight public parks with a variety of amenities.  Elmwood Park Cabin  is available for rentals.  Call 440-356-5657 for information.
